Course overview
This course covers the latest version of core ITIL® best practices presented from a lifecycle perspective. The course introduces the principles and core elements of IT service management (ITSM) based on ITIL® 2011 Edition. 
The purpose of the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is to certify that the candidate has gained knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of ITIL practices for service management. The ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management is not intended to enable the holders of the certificate to apply the ITIL practices for service management without further guidance.
Target audience
 IT Professionals, IT Support Staff, Application, Project and Business Managers, Any member of an IT team involved in the delivery of IT Services.

Certification info    ⦁    The Foundation level is the entry level certification and offers you a general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL service lifecycle  including the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and their contribution to service management practices.
⦁    After passing the ITIL Foundation training and examination, you can expect to gain a general overview and basic understanding of ITIL.
⦁    If you want to progress to the next level within the ITIL certifications scheme, the ⦁    ITIL Intermediate level, you need to have first passed the ITIL Foundation examination
