     Course overview
 The overall aim of this course is to prepare participants for the project management professional (PMP) certification through discussing the exam requirements and analyzing the questions format. 
Target audience
⦁    Project managers, members of project office, project sponsors, functional managers, senior management and individuals interested in PMP certification.
Objectives 
⦁    Prepare participants for the project management professional  certification 
⦁    Become familiar with PMBOK guide terms , definitions and processes 
⦁    Review the PMP exam requirements and application process 
⦁    Master test taking techniques , learn style and types of questions
⦁    Identify the integration of various processes and project management activities 

Pre-requisites    ⦁    Project management experience
Certification info    ⦁    The Project Management Professional (PMP)® is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers. 
⦁    The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, and you have four hours to complete it. 
⦁    To maintain your PMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years.
Qualification required 
⦁    Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent) 
⦁    7,500 hours leading and directing projects 
⦁    35 hours of project management education
               or
⦁    Four-year degree 
⦁    4,500 hours leading and directing projects 
⦁    35 hours of project management education
