The ‎ Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is the Communications Regulator in the state of Qatar established by virtue of Emiri Decree (42) in 2014. The CRA regulates the Telecommunications and Information Technology sector, postal services, access to digital media and spectrum. The CRA encourages and supports an open and competitive Information & Communications Technology (ICT) sector that provides advanced, innovative, and reliable communications services. Amended Vodafone Qatar Mobile Telecommunications License

The Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) granted Vodafone Qatar QSC license to provide public mobile telecommunications networks and services in Qatar. This is the amended license handed out on 26 February 2009 (after the original license given out on 29 June 2008) and outlines details like definitions, legal terms, obligations, activities/services and geographic coverage covered by the license, breach, penalties and amendment of license.
