The ‎ Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) is the Communications Regulator in the state of Qatar established by virtue of Emiri Decree (42) in 2014. The CRA regulates the Telecommunications and Information Technology sector, postal services, access to digital media and spectrum. The CRA encourages and supports an open and competitive Information & Communications Technology (ICT) sector that provides advanced, innovative, and reliable communications services. Balancing the rights of consumers with the needs of service providers is at the heart of everything the CRA does.

Application to obtain license to possess, install and operate Radio Communications Equipment F/RT/12


This form is applicable for any radio communication system send signals by radio. Types of radio communication systems deployed depend on technology, standards, regulations, radio spectrum allocation, user requirements, service positioning, and investment.

The radio equipment involved in communication systems includes one or more transmitters or receivers or a combination of transmitters and receivers , each having an antenna and appropriate terminal equipment necessary at one location for carrying on a radiocommunication service.
