The Ministry, represented by the Maritime Affairs Sector, has conducted an awareness and control campaign to ensure maritime vessels’ helmsmen and users follow the Coronavirus COVID-19 preventive.
The Ministry stresses that any company wanting to install electric charging units for electric vehicles must coordinate directly with the Technical Affairs Department at the Ministry before going ahead with installing the said unit.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications today signed two MoUs with Nasser Bin Khaled & Sons Holding Co. and Q-Auto for providing free electric vehicle chargers. The signing event was attended by HE the Minister Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti.
