In one of ictQATAR’s awareness initiatives to raise consumer awareness on how to deal with their mobile phones safely and securely, Q-CERT is holding the Mobile Security Awareness Week in association with BlackBerry on September 10-11, 2012.
The Awareness Week will focus on 2 sessions:
Managing and Securing your Mobile Workforce:

This session addresses the challenges in mobility management such as the concerns around device and mobile OS. It will focus on:
- The need for Mobile Security
- Resources in place from ictQATAR
- Introduction to BlackBerry Enterprise Server and Mobile Fusion
- Case Study 1- BlackBerry Enterprise Server
- · Case Study 2 – Mobile Fusion (Managing all your mobile devices from one dashboard)

Security, Compliance and the BlackBerry Solution:This session focuses on data compliance in the State of Qatar, including :
- Introduction to Data Classification (ictQATAR Information Assurance Policy)
- Introduction to the ictQATAR BlackBerry Security Policy
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server Refresh (Deploying and Managing)
- Compliance in practice, a step by step walkthrough how the policy applies to your environment and why
- Addressing user complaints when applying new policies
- Case Study – How compliance is good for business
