TumuhaTEC at the Qatar Career Fair

It’s that time of year again - Qatar Career Fair. Join ictQATAR’s TumuhaTEC initiative in a week - long event showcasing all things related to ICT.

In the TumuhaTEC booth, both students and young professionals will have the opportunity to meet talented young ICT professionals, see the latest ICT projects, participate in 15 minute workshops related to mobile app creation, graphic design and gaming as well as register for ICT internships.

The Qatar Career Fair will take place at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar, from April 1st – 5th, 2012.

ictQATAR’s TumuhaTEC initiative will be at the Qatar Career Fair from April 01 – 05, 2011.

In addition to meeting with TumuhaTEC’s Young ICT Role Models at the Qatar Career Fair 2012, our program will also include a number of interesting ICT workshops and information sessions:


April 1

ICT Projects:

1pm – 4pm: Madi, a software designed by Techno-Surrealists.
4pm – 6.30pm: The Assistive Farmer - Mohammed Bin AbdulWahab Secondary Independent School for Boys.
6.30pm – 9pm: RASAD, an ICT platform developed and owned by QSTP and ASPETAR.

Workshops:

4pm – 9pm: Qartoon - Rashid Al Kuwari and Abdulaziz Yousef.

SME Highlights:

1pm – 4pm: Fahras Qatar - Mohammed Al Saada, Fahad Al Hammadi and Waqas Ajaz.
4pm -9pm: DinoSawUs - Khalid Al Mohannadi.  

April 2

9am – 1pm: Masabeeh, an Arabic search engine developed by iHorizon .
1pm – 4pm: QUWIC’s Kotobi enables residents of Qatar and the region to select, purchase, download, and view Arabic and English eContent.
4pm – 6.30pm: Qatar is. - Khalifa Haroon.
6.30pm – 9pm: Preview of Microsoft’s Windows 8 .

9am – 4pm: (iCalc) Mobile App - Ahmed Al Tamimi.
4pm – 9pm: Interactive Self Expression - Mariam Salim.
