Ministry of Justice Turns to e-Archiving System
The Ministry of Justice (MOJ) has completed the e-correspondence program (Murasalat) and is currently turning to applying the e-archive system with the aim of storing and protecting official documents. These efforts come as part of the MOJ’s plan to develop its e-services and to enhance the capacity and skills of the staff to move from traditional paper processes to electronic processes through a series of training courses.
As both financial and administrative departments strive to develop business systems and performance programs, the Human Resources Department updated the existing systems and programs to better serve employees, and activated the employee self-service system through the Government Resource Planning Program (Mawared) that was applied in collaboration with the Ministry of Administrative Development. This will contribute to promoting the services provided to employees, minimizing the number of reviews, saving business time and raising performance efficiency.
The MOJ’s ongoing efforts to increase ICT adoption reflect its commitment to realize the goals and objectives outlined in both Qatar National Development Strategy 2011-2016 and Qatar Digital Government Strategy 2020.
