Qatar to Participate in GCC e-Government Executive Committee Meeting

The State of Qatar will participate in the 17th Meeting of GCC e-Government Executive Committee scheduled to be held at the GCC General Secretariat's in Riyadh. Qatar's delegation to the meeting will be headed by Assistant Undersecretary of Information Technology at the Ministry of Transport and Communications Hassan Jassim al Sayed.

The State of Qatar will table before the meeting two working papers, the first one is on keeping and archiving government documents and the other on its experience regarding the national cyber-security drill.

The meeting will discuss a set of topics related to the development of the e-government services in the GCC countries and checking the GCC General Secretariat's report on implementation of the 16th Meeting of GCC e-Government Executive Committee's decisions and following up the implementation of joint initiatives contained in the general framework of the guiding strategy for e-government.
