Qatar's vision for 2030

The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani issued a decree on 24th of June, 2008, approving the comprehensive development vision 'Qatar National Vision 2030'.
The vision was earlier approved by the Cabinet.
It aims at transforming Qatar into a most modern country that relies on sustainable development. The vision has four pillars: social, economic, environmental and human development.
It is based on the constitution and includes guidelines by H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H H Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned.
The vision also seeks to develop institutions and related services. It identifies the dimensions for future and highlighted the values and the ambitions of Qatari people.
